After 3 years on the gsxr 600 its sold and on Wednesday im picking up my R1. Cant wait!
Its a 2006 model on a 07 plate. It has had just 1 owner from new and has only covered 1300 miles!!!!

Who the hell buys a bike like that and only does 1300 miles in 5 years?

Mind you, if you were owning it from new and wanted to minimise depreciation you could just disconnect the speedo drive and rack up your usual 20k a year Whistle

Nope its all backed up. The guy had 9 other bikes and never used the R1. Tinklers (shop i bought it from) knows the guy well and sold it for him.
Its got a meta alarm fitted too.
As you can expect it is mint!

What I mean is, if you buy it from new, the only thing to back it up is whatever mileage gets put on MOTs, service docs etc...all of which are just read off the odo so if you do all your riding with it disconnected it's not recorded.

I'm just saying like...not suggesting that's the case with this one...just something I sometimes think when I see bikes with ridiculously low mileages.

That is nice - make sure you treat it like it should be - ridden alot. I hate seeing great bikes which sit in a garage for years hardly seeing the light of day. It's just wrong.
