Prefer this one, would probably do most of us some good to give it a watch, the filtering advice from 3.20 is a bit different though! ____________________ I am a bellend, I am a man of constant sorrow, I am a gummy bear, I am a rock. |

This is why people are taught to leave the bike in 1st when waiting at lights/junctions nowadays. You can just pop the left foot down, keep the right up on the rear brake in the safety position, and you don't need to do the silly shuffle. ____________________ stinkwheel: He had an animated .gif of a cat performing fellatio. Yes you're right. It's so that the brake is always applied, either with the right foot or right hand. I believe started in the past as with the clutches used back in the day it wasn't a good idea to hold in the clutch with bike in gear for any length of time. Can still be advisable but now not actually required as part of the test. ____________________ ...and the whirlwind is in the thorn trees, it's hard for thee to kick against the pricks...

I saw a 'Hendon wobble' once at the junction of the A12 and A13.
Stage 1, left foot down, right foot on rear brake. Look around at lawbreaking scum with arrogant sneer, admire own reflection in mirrors.
Stage 2, right foot down, left foot up and he thinks he's popped it into gear but it obviously hasn't gone in properly. Listen out for radio messages in case of chance to put woo woos on and jump red light.
Stage 3, left foot back down right foot returns to rear brake pedal. Double check in mirrors to see still looking good.
Stage 4, Rozzer revs the engine, lets the clutch lever out, lifts his feet and moves absolutely nowhere. Rapid replanting of feet, fighting to hold bike up and quick look round to see if anyone has noticed. ____________________ Blackmail is a nasty word........but not as nasty as phlegm!
