Got mine last autumn, (280 TXT), takes a bit of getting used to.
Dunno about you but my wrists were aching the first few times I rode it.

I like the bike, as a marvel of engineering, but even bleeeding the back brake means taking the whole thing apart!

Since added, new back tyre, (tubeless), new levers, new front tyre and fuel lines on the way. Replaced some of the cable ties with the proper fastners. Put the silencer on the right way up!

Nice bike,
you really don't want one on the road, flat out would probably be about 50 on trials gearing and they're a bit flighty at speed.

If your looking for trials go to www.trialscentral.com and look on the calender, there should be something close to you, I would go and watch at least once before and ask around for info.

Trials is really friendly, dirt cheap and bloody hard, I never finished my 1st trial (to be fair the furthest I'd ridden it before starting was the 150yds from the van to the 1st section!!) and I had all the wrong gear on and sweated my tits off pulling it out of holes all day. Love it now though even though I'm still crap!!

You can road reg them? Sod doing ANY sort of mileage standing up (im talking like 2 miles), would be a killer!
