Hi guys.

I dropped my bike today Sad Sad Sad
It's not too bad, just some scuffing on the exhaust and the left mirrors screw has sheared off.
The mirror glass/ housing is intact, just the bolt/screw that holds the mirror to the bike has sheared in half.

I would like to know what the screw is called so I can order one online.

It is 10mm diameter, then there is a conical shape, then there's an 8mm diameter bit, and then there's a 5mm bit.

EDIT:
I have take the right mirror off to get a better look at the screw I need, check the picture below

Hi, I don't know what the year of your bike is but the bolt doesn't appear to be supplied by Yamaha according to the parts microfiche

https://www.yamahamotorcyclespares.co.uk/spares/epc2.asp?modelID=9102&PageiD=28&m=YAMAHA+YBR125ED+++2007+STEERING+HANDLE+%26+CABLE&uID=0

Maybe check Ebay for a used mirror

I rang up my local yamaha dealer and he said Id have to buy the whole mirror, and that i should check diy stores for the screw.

I've been thinking about getting a new mirror, they're about 10-15 quid.
I though if I could get the name of the part I might be able to get one.

Thanks for your reply nonetheless

FWIW might be worth just getting a pair. Hein Gericke for instance sell a generic pair for about £20, 10mm thread.

I know this as my lad needs a set after breaking one on his GT125 Comet so have been looking.

There may be others available cheaper. It's just we thought buying off the high street would make them easier to swap if all they showed was elbows.
