Any idea if I'll fit my WR400 in the back of one?

I have one at work and am tempted to blag it for the weekend to get my bike up to a bike garage to get the fucker fixed... but not sure if it'll fit Confused

It should fit, even if you have to do it diagonally. Mind you, a tape measure might be wort a try! Is it one of the crewcab ones? They've got a really short body.

I don't know if this will help but my boss has a Toyota Hilux 4x4 pick up with the smaller 2 seater cab which is more or less the same size as a L200 and he can fit his CBR600 in the back of it easily, thats how he brought it back after crashing it...doh!

Mate of mine insures a 2.5td Toyota Hilux Surf (similar engine size/type offroad vehicle) for 2.5k Shocked , on a 4.5k car, it does 20mpg too and does about 90mph Laughing.

He's 18 with 1 years ncb, so i think insurance quotes will be high for u as u dont have 1 years car ncb? l200 is the 2.5 td one isnt it or is that that l300?

I don't know how long they are, but with the crew cab I wouldn't be so sure.

Right well it went on fine

https://www.bikechatforums.com/download.php?id=7671

But fuckin' fell over on the motorway Shocked

It's strapped down well enough there in the picture, but I didn't compress the suspension so it was bouncing up and down which loosened the straps I guess and over she goes (bet the car behind crapped themselves!)

Not too much damage done I guess Mad

The strap is wrapped around the seat because it was a long strap.. We later sussed how to use the ratchet straps properly and fed the strap all the way through the ratchet THEN tightened it up Laughing

WR is in garge being fixed, and hopefully having YZ timing mod done to free up some power, got my CRD pipe to go on still as well Smile

Why did you stick it on the back? You could have strapped it to the ickle roof rack ... much safer Wink
