Just for balance I took the RSVR to work for three days last week for the first time this year. Had the usual run ins with the going slowly brigade, the all year round tourers who are so excited to see a sportsbike they forget to knock off their indicators and the part time racers who decide that the pace they are going at is dictated by th bike behind them.

Note to all the legends who ride all year round - If I am right behind you and I wasnt there 30 seconds ago, then I am making more progress so get out of the way its not a race!!

I went out today - more to get petrol than anything else so chose a station 10 miles away to make the ride worthwhile.

Possibly the 20th time out this year too - not too shabby by my 'fair weather, Sunday rider' standards! I've been out and about whenever the urge to ride strikes since the beginning of April.

Of course, all my rides are very short compared to everyone else, hence my bikes ultra low mileage...
