I've been using a textile one for 10 months and it's holding up well. It's waterproof and pretty warm, so it's shit in the summer but for the rest of the year it's good.

I hope their leathers are good too because I've just bought some on ebay. Seem good so far Smile

Need to get summer gear. Badly. Especially gloves and trousers that my fat arse fits into. Genuinely having issues cornering the GS with em on!

I'm using camo trousers this summer. I'm sick of my jeans being too tight around the knob area and textiles are too warm.

I could wear the leathers now though Thinking wonder if they are easier to move in Confused

To be fair, I've used a pair(?) of Frank Thomas textile trousers for the last almost four years and they've been brilliant. Still got plenty of life left in them, no damage and perfectly waterproof.

(Not that I wouldn't expect such quality, but nowadays it seems that you need to replace everything every couple years..)

Same here. I got them from the bike show for about £60, they are warm, comfortable and waterproof.
Thumbs Up

The leathers are shit. I had a pair of (£80) leather gloves fall apart after 4 months, got them replaced, same thing happened again.

The leather trousers I had, the lining ripped out of them. Same story and timescale as with the gloves.

You get what you pay for. I would recommend jacket and leathers by arlen ness, but suggest you avoid their boots and gloves, and get A*.
