Just picked up a lovely condition GPZ500s Very Happy for the immediate day after test (I'm that confident Laughing ), and it came with a massive wedge of paperwork, receipts, MOT's etc.. Took me an hour to sort all that out into a sort of order to view the history. It has passed it's MOT prior to purchase, only needed to change front tyre (which we did beforehand).

One thing I noticed - It seems to repeatedly get advisories on the front bearings being notchy (?) (although I don't have all receipts, I'm sure they've been replaced at some point).

Any ideas why this would keep coming up? Is this a common issue with the bike? It's a '99 model, 29000 miles on the clock, if that helps. Thinking

They probably haven't been replaced, Its not expensive for a new set nor is it hard to fit them..

In the 30 Seconds i just spent on Google, I don't think that its a bike specific issue.

Thanks - I had checked it out, just seemed a little odd that it's had the advisory twice (a few tests apart) and will be ordering a set anyway. Just passed MOT with no problems in this area.... Will see what it's like when I can ride it properly.

Other bike specific issues (considering age) have been worked on in the last 10000 miles or less, so I'm quite pleased there.
