Passed mod 2 today! Had no faults! L plates were ceremoniously ripped off and sawn with keys by an instructor who was taking someone through there test there. Did it at Wakefield with the same guy I had before which kinda helped.

Cheers to everyone on this forum who's given advice, it's all been useful for me and no doubt for every other learner out there.

Went on the motorway for the first time too (don't have a car licence so never driven on it either) and gotta say, it's shit scary on a 125. Pissed truck drivers overtaking 2mph faster than I am going isn't the nicest intro! Dual Carriageways are more my bag Cool

Fancy a restricted zxr400 now!

Well done Mr. Green Thumbs Up .....I do advise against a Ninja 250 though, mainly due to it losing value next year with the new license changes.....your money your choice though Wink

I did think that but with fuel prices going the way they are a 250 might still ve desirable. The 400 looks awesome but I just got refused insurance on one by my current provider! Won't matter when redshift release their electric supermotos though Haha

The Ninja 250 is quite pricey to insure as well, when the wife had hers it was about 50% more than an Er6n Shocked ....don't recall it being any more economical for fuel either Thumbs Up

Bought a new ninja yesterday only to come home to these posts haha!

Even if it's worth less next year I guess I still have 2 years of using it and probably more than that to be honest. That wouldn't be bad for the price. I guess there will always be market for it, smaller people (including me) tend to like it because it's so light.

Thanks for the tips anyway guys!
