Need some help changing sprocket & chain

Hey everyone, as some of you may or may not know, I'm setting off to Europe for a month in a couple of weeks and was thinking about changing my sprocket & chain.

I've already bought the parts but this would be the first time I'm taking on a task this big and I'm not entirely sure how to go about it.

So if anyone lives within 60 miles of Leicester could give me a hand between 10th evening & 12th evening, I would really appreciate it.

I've called up the local garage and they want £75 just for labour.

I would obviously ride out to you would be more than happy to compensate you for your time (with money/biscuits/beer) and will obviously try and do as much of it possible as I can.

But I don't have a riveting tool to do it with and don't want to do it on my lonesome because I have to get on a ferry on the 13th morning and fucking it up in some way would be the kind of thing I would do.

The bike is a 99 ZZR6 if that is of any use.

I have a heavy duty riveting tool, and I know how to use it
...but we're both in Cardiff at the moment

Also don't forget you may need to replace the tab washer on front sprocket so get one ordered too.

Tab washer? I was under the impression these could be reused. Right, I'll get one of them then.

They often can, however through usage and bending they can crack and break. Considering the age of your bike, the uncertainty of its condition and your tight deadlines, it would be prudent to have one than need one for the few quid it costs.
