Want to shout from the rooftops, I have my first 600 bike!!
A rather beautiful gsx-R 600.
Have a look at the pics and let me know what you think. If anyone could let me know how to put more than one pic on I'll put more on.
Louis

Very nice mate, I've always liked the old SRAD's.

What did you pay for it out of interest?

Thumbs Up

Although if I was you, I'd get rid of the great big GSX-R logo on the tail, looks a bit, shall we say, out of place...

I'd remove all the fairings and put a non gash corona set on.

That scheme is definitely not top of my list, nowhere near top. Laughing

Aside from that Thumbs Up Enjoy

nice, the SRAD was my first road bike too, brilliant little bikes, but keep the revs well up if you want to make any progress.

Only £1300.

Yeah, the gsxr sticker has to go, the prev owner has coloured in the "R" where he's scuffed it getting on and off. Though other than that, I'm in love with her!

It's an X reg, 2000. With 25k on the clock.

Thats really nice, the paint job can look horrendous if it's tatty, but when it's like that it actually is laaavly.

Like Sako said, keep the revs up, they were quite known to be gutless down low Thumbs Up Mr. Green

If its your first 600 take it easy. I've just recently got myself one of those and the front can get a bit twitchy!

I took the gsxr sticker of the rear panel and it was covering a chip. Not impressed, need to find another sticker to cover it now...

It's Dyno tuned but still don't really get much poke till about 8k revs, still my new baby!

If anything the Dyno tuning might reduce bottom end even more
