TT have a live stream website, all you do is add your name and E-mail address, click the activation e-mail and there's live timing from different parts of the track, a live radio stream (which i'm listening to) and some other bits and bobs, isn't too bad really for a freebee Smile.

https://ttlive.iomtt.com/index.htm

thats the link, for anyone who might be interested.

Video stream would make no sense at all of what is happening on the course.
ITV4 will spend the rest of the day editing for continuity and broadcast at 21.00.

Riding beyond skill level from being caught up in the excitement, it's easily done Embarassed

Recently stood mine up in a fast S bend from panic grabbing due to speed, only just got it tucked in or I would have ended up in a stream after going over a wall. Slowed me down a bit since.

Hopefully people will keep their heads, and barring mech failure, no more fatalities.

Only 140mph? I've only done a bit less than that on the Hornet. Wow.

Not sure what anyone else thinks but I think the ITV4 coverage has been pish so far.

Saturday was ok, but Sunday was just dire, sidecar racing *yawn* for 20 mins where the most exciting thing to happen was mechanical failures for about 5 of the teams. Followed by 40 minutes of interviews, most of which with people who have nothing to do with the sport.

It's nice to watch the TT and think anyone could potentially become a professional rider if they've got the skill, but I wish some of the riders had some personality -- excluding the obvious person, who's a great character but actually seems to be a bit screwball since his 2010 crash -- it's like watching paint dry.

Better get yourself to the TT next year then. With a few practice laps you'll obviously be winning. Rolling Eyes

Noooo, you misunderstand me. What I mean is is that I've done 130mph for a matter of moments on a clear, dry motorway before I completely shat it as the wind was trying to rip my head off my neck. Which means I was going slower than these steel balled psycho's who are going faster on single carriageway village roads. Christ on a bike, just watching that makes me feel all funny inside, I have immense respect for the spectators stood there, all it takes is for one of those riders to lose it on that little left and the guy taking the footage is mashed. As for doing it myself, erm, no, that will NEVER happen!

EDIT: Thinking about it again, I further mean that this looks like a lot faster then 140mph and I can't believe I've done anywhere near that. Anywhere near 3 figures feels insanely quick, so god only knows how it feels to be doing 140mph through the houses. Madness...

That explains the "Only 140mph comment". I thought you meant that 140 was slow. Laughing

Yeah, sorry, it was more of a "blind panic of realisation" wow than an "I could do that" wow.

Have some Karma , it might help calm me down.

I'm not really a fan of motorcycling as a sport. But i have to give a Thumbs Up to these riders, they are highly skilled and incredibly brave.
