Cruel, Cruel Barstewards (inc upsetting video)

My neighbours bought a small dog a few months back, since then it's lived in a small pen - about 2 by 3 foot with a tiny kennel. It's never taken out or played with, just fed and watered and left in this pen. I caught the eldest child showing his sister how to whip it with a cane the other day, even the 3 year old knew this was wrong.
As it was barking all day, (you can't blame it), people complained and so the owner decided to fit an electric shock collar Shocked

Something went wrong today, and this is the result. you can hear the whistle that means the collar is constantly shocking the poor mite. The shocks were so intense, it leapt out of the pen and was running around the yard in agony.
RSPCA have already been around but they were worse than useless and were fobbed off.

Call the RSPCA again and if they dont do anything, call them again and again and again until they get the message that these c*unts are being cruel to the dog.

Just read a story from The telegraph where a bloke in wales was fined £3000 for using one of these collars but they're still legal in England for some stupid reason. I don't understand why the fuck they have a dog in the first place if they're just going to keep it in a pen in the garden Confused

I wouldn't have bothered with the video, the fence would have been knocked down and the collar taken off. The dog would have been taken to the RSPCA for them to do something proper.

Is he training it up to be an attack/guard dog or something? Sounds like he is just trying to produce fear/aggression.

Just watched the vid. Cant you take the dog out of there when they are out, remove collar and ID and just take it to a dog shelter or some other such place?

Dont think that will stop them getting another one though.

I'm not going to watch the vid, i can only imagine.....

My advice would be either go and get it yourself, or failing that ring the police if the RSPCA wont get involved.
Failing that then yes, get in touch with a newspaper.

Either way it needs sorting out, and fast.

At one point, I wondered if it was stolen or held for ransom, scoured the appropriate sites but couldn't find anything. Only noticed the collar after todays episode, i wondered how he'd got it to stop barking. electric shock collars Rolling Eyes

If I were in your shoes I would be getting that dog out of there, taking it to the RSPCA with a letter explaining the treatment of the dog and a copy of that video and also that they failed to act on the treatment of the dog after numerous phone calls. Walk into the RSPCA, leave the dog, letter and video and walk out without saying anything.
