Hi,

I've recently bought a new (2003) bike that is datatagged. I have completed nearly all of the paperwork for change of owner, but there is one bit that i have no idea about... it asks for 'serial number 1 & 2' (this is not the visible stamp)

Now i have all the other bits of info at hand from the previous owner but not this. Is there anyone with a datatagged bike who could shed some light? Previous owner has no idea and ive had no contact back from Datatag. Not exactly the most serious of issues in life but there we go.

Thanks.

I had similar problems when changing ownership of my data tagged bike. I phoned them and they were very helpful. Soon had the new documents sorted

I think that serial number possibly relates to plant machinery only.

They usually have two triangular labels stuck to the machine, both labels have a different number on them.

If in doubt, give them a call.

I found them very helpful over the phone when I changed details for the Blade, probably get the info needed with a quick call.

Thumbs Up

I'm just waiting for the forms to transfer this over for my bike.

I think they're available 24 hours a day, so just give them a call. They've been very helpful both times I've spoken to them.
