Hello,

New to this forum and owned bikes for a couple of years now, my first bike was a Yamaha Cw 50 sport edition and great fun took me every where.
Second bike was a Yamaha Townmate T80 which was great fun and fast for an 80 had 68mph out of it and doubled the mileage in 10 months but written off 4 weeks ago when filtering and women did a u-turn with out indicating and T boned me.
Got a Yamaha ttr 250 1994 waiting for me when I pass my test Twisted Evil

Picking up my replacement bike tomorrow a 1990 Kawasaki KH100 which is in very condition just needs Tax, MOT in mid June and points setting up, can any body tell me the procedure for doing this and what the measurement the point gap should be and best oil for gearbox and best 2 stroke oil.

Sorry for long intro best to get it out there.

My first bike was a T-80!
It was rubbish Very Happy

Lesson learned with the filtering there I think. I do filter but I do it slowly and carefully. I treat every car with suspicion - I've seen so many random moves by car drivers that I assume that someone in the queue is gonna do something..... that way I'm prepared for when they do or its a bonus when they don't Smile

I enjoyed the T80 they where good mine had a lot wrong with after crash and deheartened me about biking, looking after a bike then wrecked in couple of second was only filtering 10mph to 15mph?

How come you didn't like the t80.

Mini was starting to go that, wheel bearings had gone, head race bearing gone, front forks bent, front springs collapsed and leading link bushes gone.

Was looking at an Ar 125 but my budget is only £350 this time, couple of mates have Ar50 with micron can loudest thing out there.

I'd rather stick with older bike more robust, puts smile on my face and interesting, this kawk kh100 has the front brake off a kawk z750 interesting fact there.

Kawasaki kh is in back of van mot till June 20th new points, coil, condenser, pads took £15 off for tax and the little girl sett me back £335.

She just needs a name now.
