Yes I would buy if I could reasonably repair (get the bits and fit and the frame was actually checked as true). Plastics can be expensive, also if low numbers of bike sold. Depends what bike and what wanted for. Trackday special shouldn't be an issue. Suspect as asking about insurance you want road use though.

From experience of others the insurance should not be an issue if declared. Only problem is a lower resale value and possible hassle if don't declare Cat-C when selling (although I'm too honest, there is the school of if they don't ask I don't say so it's buyer's fault).

Wouldn't bump it up, lower the claim value maybe.

I'd buy them quite happily Thumbs Up

Suggest see if that's a good price for a non Cat-C example. Dealer selling too so there will be a mark-up although perhaps room for negotiation on price and/or any accessories/clothing.

Nice bike.

Cat C on that would be forks/engine damage more than likely.

Seems an OK price, I'd be looking to barter down to £2400, then its a pretty sweet deal. These bikes hold their value Evil or Very Mad

Don't sweat the Cat C, but go in with your eyes open and remember that your offer was strictly conditional on it being as described.

Ignore the salesman gabbing on, focus just on what you can see in front of you.

Looks nice, mind. Very Happy
