From the Daily Mail. Article itself isn't interesting, but I think we can agree this is the best outcome for the thieving scum in question.

'He's really upset about his motorcycle being stolen more than anything,' said Halls.

'And that somebody died crashing it.'

Correct sense of priorities there. First concern for the motorcycle, afterthought for the thief. However, as report said it was a neighbour I guess that could get awkward.

He'd better hope that they don't find evidence that the bike was unroadworthy or else the deceased's family will have him up in court claiming damages for the death of this scrote and lost income from all the future-thefts he won't be able to do.

Oh wait, it's Canada not Britain.

They'd just give him a moose burger, drenched in maple syrup for his troubles.

sorry, the only 'scum' seems to be you.

In what warped persons mind, is a a theft where someone
dies, a correct response a thumbs up?

And they say we live in a civilised society.

You should be ashamed of yourself.

It's not like he's a murderer, a pedo, rapist etc etc, he lifted a
bike and you think he deserved to die? Shame on you.

Get some fooking perspective.

Pfft don't care, the guy killed himself and could have just as easily killed someone else, he broke into someone elses property, took something that wasn't his, that he doubtlessly had no experience on, and floored it till he killed himself

Sounds to me like the guy was on a mission.

That article is pretty badly written, really.

They said straight away, 'I'm afraid your husband has been killed in an accident without specifying a time.'

Wut, is that really what they said? YOUR HUSBAND IS DEAD WITHOUT SPECIFYING A TIME

Give it 5 years and it'll be illegal (in this country) to die without first alerting the authorities precisely when and where you intend to do so, with enormous fines being passed on to the bereaved relatives. Neutral

As for the deaf thief; I rarely hop and skip at the thought of anyone dying but this guy struggles to score very highly on my something-in-my-eye-ometer. Still there'll be grieving relatives left behind who don't deserve it.

Yep, 100% deserved, think of it as just desserts, Karma, what goes around comes around, Darwin at work, natural selection.

To be honest I wouldn't give a shit about him, in fact if I happened upon the scene of someone dead who had stolen my bike, they would still get a shoeing, more of thieving scum dead the better imho

Been the victim of a lot of thefts, have you?

Most thieves are career, and custodial sentencing for property theft - outside of rational jurisdictions with 3-strike style laws - is sporadic and light. Incapacity or death are the only things that end their careers and save hundreds or thousand of future victims a vast total of grief, expense and lost sleep.

Taken in the round, I'd rather execute a career thief than a first offence murderer or rapist.

In the case of motorcycle theft, I'd prefer that they die in a fire.

He stole a bike, rode without insurance, potentially without licence, rode dangerously, carelessly . Stole from a neighbour, so that in itself is pretty shitty. Didn't care about others wellbeing whilst riding and the insurance costs to all legite riders. so fuck him, he got what was coming to him.

Well said. Clapping

Everyone knows the death of a bike thief is traditionally celebrated with the dancing banana.

If my bike ever gets nicked I would wish that the theif got wiped off the face of the Earth as well. As in 100mph into a brick wall or back of a tractor sort of dead, wouldn't care about the bike at that point, revenge is more important Twisted Evil Twisted Evil

Although if a low flying seagull happened to decapitate him, whilst the bike glided gracefully to a stop and rested itself against a wall, that'd be great thanks. Thumbs Up

having finally found a bike that makes me smile just by looking at it, if someone stole it and I caught them, I would rip them limb from limb then smash their skull in with the soggy ends.
