I often read "VFR800 is a really comfy bike" here, but when I sat on it, I felt it very racy position. When I moved from W650 to TDM, I still felt it racy position Sad . So I attached bar riser, now I don't feel neck pain and head ache any more but I don't feel it "comfortable" position. It's not relaxed position. I felt W650 very handy size but TDM is big for me. I thought maybe TDM is designed for Europeans who is more than 185cm tall. I'm only 173cm tall.
When I said this in Japanese forum, TDM owners said TDM is good because it has "slightly racy" position. Don't you think so? And they were saying if you are over 165cm you can ride TDM no problem.
I think I'm too inclined to relaxed positioned bikes.(but I don't like cruiser position)
Before I bought TDM, I was thinking TDM is best bike for long touring but I soon get tired on TDM.
Is TDM a racy bike or comfortable bike? Why is VFR800 a "comfy" bike? Is comfy or not different by riders?

Every bike feels different for each individual, it's not just about how tall you are, but arm and leg legnth.

I wouldn't call the TDM a crotch rocket, I believe they're classed as streetbikes, but they're a chunk more sporty than the W650 (want one), which are a more sit up and beg style.

Kawashima - have a look at this website - select your bike then insert your height - you can see a rough estimate of how you will be sitting on it.
