hi guys this is just a general question for everyone as the market is relatively small so which spark plugs do you like to use when servicing your bike, which engine oil do you use, which filters you use and which is your favourite chain lube? (sounds a bit wierd the last one hahaha)

this is for general weekend riding styles so not really track racing. but some us like to pretend the road is a racetrack so lets say we do rag the bike a bit and we like going fast but not all the time.

Plug - NGK.

Oil - any 10w40 semi-synthetic, like HG/Halfords.

Chain lube - clean with paraffin and lube with left over engine oil or 80/90w gear oil.

I would also go with NGK plugs and Hein Gericke semi-synth oil because you get a free oil filter in the deal. Not sure what bike it is for but this oil I find is quite suitable for my Exup 1000.

As for chain lube this seems to be down to personal choice. If it is an 'O' or 'X' ring chain then buy what you can afford.I use Kal-Gard 'O' ring lube but many people like the Wurth Dry lube as it does not go everywhere (overspray).

NGK plugs as they are readily available. Chain lube was something I got from Hein Gericke (possibly Motul brand? Dunno, gave it to the bloke who bought the CB). Oil is car 10w/40 semi synthetic from Halfrauds, because I got free screwdrivers with it.
