going to put a new set of rollers on my bike should rollers be grease or leave them dry some people say yes and some say no my bike manual dont say any thing about rollers an help please

tbh I'd have thought with grease being so thick it would cause them to stick slightly, but then the speed the wheel turns at I guess it wouldn't be an issue other than causing them not to roll and just slide causing a flat spot.

But that's just my opinion (never seen greased rollers before)

i once had an x8r maybe 10-11yrs ago, and yes i greased the rollers with a little bit of grease on each one aswell as the little black sliders/spacers.. it helped keep them seated while trying to put the whole thing back together on the shaft. never did any harm at all !!

You shouldn't use grease but it won't really do any harm unless you cover them in it. I have never seen rollers come greased from the manufacturer.

if you grease them they tend to slide wearing flat spot.
