CLR125 Squeeky rear suspension/swingarm not sure which

Hey all, not posted int eh workshop for a while but hey,

The back end of my city fly squeaks a lot and no idea why, having looked on youtube all the city flys I've seen on there squeak as well in the same way.

Is it just something to do with this bike or is it something I could sort out on my own or is it something that would cost a fortune?

No problems with the feel of the suspension and it's a comfy ride, just squeaks when getting on n off and if bounced on.

You should have a rubber bung looking thing at the bottom of the rear suspension.

This gets hard and squeaks...both of mine had the same noise. When I popped a bit of vaseline in there it was quiet for a bit.

also out of interest, would a squeaking suspension fail an mot?
