I think it's great, ageless and well worth the price you paid. Thumbs Up

There's not a lot you can do to make it faster though, short of upping/dropping the number of teeth on the rear or front sprockets. You can trade off top speed and acceleration like that.

Personally I'd suggest you keep it stock, happy in the knowledge that you'll always get your money back when you sell it to move up the biking ladder.

Changing the exhaust and filter may require a jetting change...?

Throw away the AC10 and the filter.

The AC10 is pretty much the most knobbly road legal tyre you can buy, unless you plan to spent 90% of you riding on greenlanes it will be horrid to ride on and bald and square in a couple of months.

Those pod filters are crap on 2t's you will never get it to run right stick to the standard airbox.

Loving the moped in the distance, with the duct tape. Thought that was a Ford Mondeo thing!

I presume you have a full motorbike license already? Or just not got round to putting the ol' L plates on?

You said first bike, so if you've done your full test already, I'm surprised. Thumbs Up

No point in modifying a 125CC for speed.

If you want to spend money on it, get the plastics took off and resprayed, just keep the colour the same, or you have to go notifying the DVLA of a colour change. Very Happy

I really wouldn't bother, 2t bikes are sensitive to air pressure changes and really need an airbox, race bikes used to run filters like that but they would need to be set up every day.

On a good day you might get a couple more BHP on a bad you could hole your piston, I very much doubt you will get it to consistently run well.

I have AC10's on my KTM however, that is mainly an offroad bike, if you are going to be ragging this round a field with the occasional hop onto a road to get to another field then great if you are mainly using it on the road, not only will it wear really quickly but it will be horrid to ride on, give you bugger all grip and wear really quickly. It is literally the worse tyre you can use for road work. Same goes for the rear.
