hi everyone im in a bit of a panick.
my insurance on my bike ran out on sunday and im suffering from withdrawl symptoms. these include:
seeing bikers going past and feeling sad.
arguing with the girlfriend.
thinking of breaking the law and riding as far as i can on a tank of fuel and crashing it off a cliff so i go with it.
and worst of all wishing i was on bikes that i would normal dispise when i see them go past.

im getting rid of the bike in 1 month but should i insure it!!! Sad

Only since Sunday.... FFS

I've been without my license since the end of January and my bike since the end of February, and still have until next January to wait till I get my license back... I have to put up with hearing bikes hooning down the dual carriageway about 2 streets over at all hours.

As much as I want to get on the bike and ride, I know that would be the second most stupid mistake I'll ever make in my life, you need to give yourself a good ol' slap, and either insure the bike for a month (if there are any insurance companies that will do that length of policy), or get over it

I live in Hackney Wick which is close to dual carriage ways. In the summer I leave my window open and often hear a bike speed. Makes me want to get a bike! Waiting on insurance to pay out!

If I go two days without riding i go frantic. My fingers itch, I sit in a cage and watch all the bikes go bast, I get road rage, I go sit in the garage with a brandy and coke and just sit on the bikes.

When both my kids here I have no choice but to cage.

What a relief to get on a bike again.

I used to be like that until I bought a semi fast pretty fun car. My commute is on clear country roads so the car is definitely more fun when its wet and cold.

I do still itch to get out on the bike when the weather is nice though.

Remember kids, bikes aren't like lego. You can't easily take a part from one bike and then fit it to another.

Hell, I had a 2 l dohc Astra that went like a rocket, but my x took that as well as part of the usual extortion that passes for kunt support. The screwing you get for the screwing you got. Yet i still prefered a bike.

Not as much of a rocket as my 265bhp BMW 1 series...Wink

Sorry to hear about your loss (of your car!).

It was worth it to get my sanity back Mr. Green

As they say, you know divorce is expensive; because it is worth it!

Better to waste money than time. You can buy things again, but can never get time back.

Damn. If you had a bike you can ride every day.. Now you only get to ride when she is in the mood. Mr. Green

If your bike gets stolen the insurance will replace it. But when the wife gets stolen, all your assets go with, and insurance won't pay you out Laughing

Yeah, when it's pissing with rain and I'm in my 58 bhp diesel car, I'm just about ready to throat punch anyone that annoys me.

Seeing bikers go past- pull the curtains on.

Feeling sad- put some old episodes of 'fools and horses'
on and have a laugh.

Arguing with the girlfriend-ditch the bitch or base your relationship around something a bit more solid than not riding your bike for a couple of days.

Riding bike off a cliff blah blah blah-save the petrol and stab yourself with a fork until you bleed to death then the air ambulance etc isn't wasting its time.

Or alternatively-live for the day and insure it, have a good time and evrything will be sweet in the rose garden of life. Get your prioreties right.

OGR

help....
