When i change up into top gear the bike goes into a false neutral, i then have to knock it up into top gear again before actually engaging the final gear. Also, i've started to notice that sometimes (not very often at all actually) it decides to 'jump' out of top gear when just cruising along (which can be quite embarrassing ). Again, i have to knock it up a second time to engage top gear. The bike is a Peugeot XR6 (50cc)

just spend 900 quid wasnt on road when i bought

just need some advise this same thing what jay had notthing that i could see that would helped me

here link same problem

So you're in 5th/6th, then it suddenly goes into neutral?

If it was happening from 1st to 2nd, then that would just be normal. Probably due to not pushing up the selector enough.

Sounds like your gears are mashed.
Guessing from the bike, it's been ragged by chavs around the local lanes for most of it's life, so has probably been battered about a bit.

Considering you've copied that quote from the other thread, like for like, it would seem to be a common problem associated with that bike.

Fucking hell jamie, try and reread your last two posts.

Trying to struggle through them just gave me an aneurysm.

Jamie, your going to have to write a little more fluently, because I can't work out exactly what you mean. Put some punctuation in there, that will help define what you mean. Always proof read what you have wrote slowly and see if its able to be read giving it a different meaning then change it so it's clear. I often have to go back through my typing to check it all makes sense when I'm trying to explain something

You bought French shyte. It has either surrendered or the gearbox keeps trying to go into reverse.

Huh? What?

En Anglais ci vous plait
You spent £900 on a 50cc?

There's a very nice YBR on another thread for £850 and that's a 125 Rolling Eyes

Maybe he is just trying to bail out the french.

Yet again.

The French stuff is expensive. Someone must subsidise their 32 hr work week, their long lunches, their mistresses, their french football team without one proper frenchman in it, and their farmers constantly having food fights in the cities when the muslims are not busy rioting.
