Initial thread is here:
https://www.bikechatforums.com/viewtopic.php?t=248324

But it's not too optimistic, advice is to leave it be if easily offended.

This is for fond memories or pics taken doing what he loved(cars and bikes).

Its a nice sentiment, Steve.
A little too late, I think, but nice nonetheless.
I note the original thread has now "gone gold" with a rating of "legendary", so likely to be relegated to the ranks of a BCF comedy classic. How fitting.

I'm in contact with one of Luke's mates to get one of his "stoppy" photos done for Anita, maybe as a canvas (ironically).

RIP Luke

In all honesty I would have done it as soon as the other went sour but I neither wanted bad karma or abuse for being a fan-boi when these days I'm indifferent.

I was hoping some of his 'new' mates would have posted some half decent pics of his motoring antics which I did enjoy, but to no avail.

Ne'mind. Laughing

Was a good riding buddy, and a tragic loss!
Im away in Cyprus at the moment so couldn't make the ride out in his memory today, but will be popping to the 'place' when Im home on Saturday.

Some people hated him, some loved him, and others were just plain jealous of what he had. Either way he was a fellow biker, and a bloody good one at that. One of the fastest learners I've ridden with, and never sacred to try something new.

RIP mate!

Rest in peace mate. Met him a few times through Ben ^
Seemed alright to me.

I actually met the Paramedic that was called out to him on Friday, apparently he was gone when they got there. At least he didn't suffer.

I seemed to have missed a lot of the negative stuff that people have brought up in the other thread. Personally, Luke was an inspiring rider to me having seen a helmet cam video of him on a VFR400, it made me want a VFR400.

Then his awesome taste in styling and R6 project thread made me want an R6.

R.I.P

For anybody who wishes to go, I understand Luke's mum has had his funeral details posted on his FB page.

This completely. I joined the forum after reading the thread about when he got hit off by a car whilst filtering, then read his R6 with white wheels thread, loved his funny wheelie through a speed camera thread, accepted he was a bit of a cock but always was a nice guy to me whenever I asked him something.

From the Dartford Messenger (not on their website yet though), for those who cannot see the details on the FB page...

Quote:
His funeral on Wednesday from 11.45am will be the perfect tribute. Luke will arrive at Brands Hatch, with family and friends lining the entrance, in a Suzuki Hayabusa motorcycle hearse and will be driven slowly on a last lap around the race track.

Luke's family has asked people not to wear black and to tie a ribbon, "small or bold", in the colours of Luke's bike to their own vehicles.

The service at the Garden on England Crematorium in Bobbing, Sittingbourne, will not be a religious one. Mourners have been asked to come with "an open mind and heart"

I didn't agree with some of the stuff he posted but he seemed pretty helpful and nice when I asked him about mods on his bike. RIP Luke.
