has anyone seen the dodge "bike" lol i use the term loosely. It has an 8 litre V12 engine in it... and is apparently capable of bout 300mph... which i dont doubt. Its only a concept but it has been made... and looking at it im wondering how it turns. Anyone else seen it? or am i the only 1?

Where did you see this? and i do doubt 300mph although if it is actually possible to build it would be rather quick, but 300mph....

He's talking about a 'concept' bike that 'theoritcally' can do 300mph.

I have seen pics and videos of it, I haven't been impressed. The theoretical speed probably does not include such minor annoyances as air resistance etc.

I doubt it would out accelerate something like a turbo busa, which would cost a lot less to build and would have a hope of going around corners .

Apparently they made a few (12 is the number that pops into my head), and 10 were sold for about $1 million(I think).

They were designed as bikes but as they had 4 wheels were classed as cars so were never going to pass any vehicle laws anywhere. All the bikes went to private collectors/displays.

I only ever saw a small video of one running, that was at about 10 mph, and the leaning (which was quite interesting) didnt actually work at that time. So it involved a very big number point turn.

That Tomahawk thing (and I think it deserves the title of 'thing') has the Dodge/Chrysler Viper engine in it. It's been a good and very powerful race engine for years.

Not too sure about the 300mph mind. I think that's being ovelry optimistic.

It just takes the piss really. And only 502 hp from 8.2 litres? I know it's a V8, but maybe miles to the gallon should be feet to the gallon.
