Hi guys.
My ZX9R E1 has a sticker that says the above on it but I'm not really sure what it does. I have googled and I understand that it's removal of some sort of clean air system but why would this be done and for what gain?
I realise a sticker doesn't mean it's fitted, although I doubt it would be on there if it wasn't. The bike also has a scorpion race can.
I can't check if it has it fitted if I don't know what I'm looking for. I'm guessing it's blanking plates or something.
Apparently the jetting of the carbs has not been changed.
I'm just generally interested. Nothing wrong with the bike, but I'd like to know a bit more about its function (or the reason why the "clean air system" would be removed).
Thank you.
EDIT: I think the "Kleen" sticker is just showing that the bike is stock and has the clean air system fitted, letting air into the exhaust. Not as interesting as I thought. |
