Magickland.

I mean private sale.

It was reframed about 3 months ago using a brand new frame from Honda. Hence why it is mint, it's just been cleaned and rebuilt from the ground up.

Previous owner was repairing some cosmetic damage on a fairing and found a crack in the frame, the result is what you see before you.

I swapped a bandit I bought for £900 and a grand for it, so £1900.

19,000 on the clock at the mo, so bollock all really.

It'll do nicely to compliment the turbo bandit. Laughing Can take it out when I fancy going for a bimble on something slow.

Quite possibly. The going price for one of these on E-gay appears to be about 3k for this mileage/condition. Even with the history (though it's got FSH too) this has gotta be worth £2.5k and up.

Thank you very much. I've got a little list of bits I want to do to it, new grips, screen, bar ends, slip on, paddock bobbins pretty much.

This thing has had money just thrown at it. All service and maintenance work was carried out by the main Honda dealer on the Island. Just to back that up, there's thousands of quids worth of bills in the documents, one for a DID chain and sprocket kit the chap paid £242 fitted for. Oil changes and mini services running £170. List goes on.

Remember kids, bikes aren't like lego. You can't easily take a part from one bike and then fit it to another.

Well, I've had this present insurance policy for 8 months, so from October last year I've bought or already had:

CG125
Street Triple
CBR250RR
CBR600RR
Buell XB12R
CCM FT35S
Bandit 1200
Bandit 600

Since I started biking I've had the above and:

Honda PXR50
MZ SM 125
DR350
DRZ-400E SM
SV650
ZZR600
Thunderbird 1700

I think that's it from the top of my head. Got nakeds, supersports, crossers, supermotos, commuters, mopeds, sports tourers, cruisers and a flatracker in there so I'm pretty well covered for answering 'what bike' threads. Laughing

Are you going on Church St. ride on Sunday?

You son of a b!tch! I'm looking at 03 - 05 CBRs for my next bike depending on insurance polices for a thou. Perfect 600 there and at a steal price.

Hmmm well, when were you looking to buy? Must admit my plan with this was to enjoy it for a month for two during summer then move it on and get a hack for winter. It just came up and well... you'd have to be a total mug not to go for a deal like that, even if you knew you weren't going to get on with it, aye?

It is not at all my usual type of bike and the riding position is already grating on me. Laughing but it is very, very pretty.

Well I was going to keep my Hornet for a bit, but I've been getting the itch to get another Sports for months and I love the CBRs. Planned on getting a thou but with budget limits might be best to get a 6 for another couple years. Do give me a PM when you come sell.

Might be able to work something out.

Thumbs Up

EDIT* I am completely serious. I'd love to have that bike off you when you're finished.
