 |
|
Hi,
Just cleaning my chain this morning and let it run on idle in 1st gear just to circulate the oil.
The chain seemed to be jumping around a bit (video below). Is this anything to worry about?
I would hope that it is just because the chain is not under any load, as when I pick the revs up it seems to be fine.
Any reassuring comments?

Ps. Chain seems to be correctly tensioned ____________________ 2005 Honda Varadero 125xl > 2005 GS500F > 2007 DRZ400 SM > 600 Bandit & Yamaha YP250 |

When I bought my first bike, the CBR, it did this. I went out & bought a new chain & sprocket set as I thought it meant the sprockets were forked. ____________________ Willson - "If you go out on that CBR600 in the winter, you're going to do more miles on your side than on your wheels."

Cheers guys,
I'm gonna give the chain a going over tomorrow so I'll check all your suggestions.
