Hi,
I want to get a camera for my motorcycle and after a quick search I found this https://www.4kam.com/index.htm it looks perfect for me the only problem is that reviews seem sketchy and after looking on YouTube the video quality seems to vary greatly which I suppose will be because of the dvr? So do you think an extra £60 would be acceptable for the added picture quality?
Has anyone had any experience with this product what it the quality like?

There are better systems for the money I'd have thought - I'd go with a single piece camera like the go pro or contour.

Shocked How much? Check out GoPro, dogcam and tachyon - all have been recommended on here before, have better results on YouTube and are much cheaper.

Personally I have the tachyon, may upgrade to the new HD version later in the year.

If you really want a bullet cam. Then This has far better quality.

I will be using the camera every day because my friend was hit by a idiot in a cage he is fine not even a scratch (that is why you were the right gear) but his bike was written off and the other insurance company is refusing to pay due to insufficient evidence despite 2 witnesses. And quite a lot of video uploading both personal and for my dad's company
i want a bullet camera because i just want to put it on my bike and forget about it untill the footage is needed or wanted

edit:
Can anyone recommend a camera that I can just plug in to my bike and forget about so in other words a camera that will draw power from the bike switch on and start recording when it receives power and will automatically rewrite the data on the SD card

you can get a cheap 806#16 camera from ebay.
It does loop recording, so you can forget about the microsd until something "bad" happens and it can use a usb 5v line while on.

The quality is not as good as other but for 25 quid is good enough (720p) and has lots of config options
I got one in my helmet with a phone battery and it does the job perfectly 8)
