For the love of god please someone have a word with me Confused

Passed my test in November last year and I have been delighted with my Gladius over the last 7 months.......... Or so I thought??

I then popped into a Triumph dealership and found myself looking at the the Street Triple R. My will is weakening and I am starting to find myself looking at insurance quotes and calculating losses on my current Bike.

The Mrs would probably leave me................... But then again!!! Mr. Green

Striple.

She will only dislike the fact you have spent a large amount of money. Then she will see the sexy bike with you looking sexy on it, this will then lead on to a happy (wink wink nudge nudge) home life. Everyone wins.

Thumbs Up

But you more than her Cool

To be honest I'm struggling to find any reports or anyone that has a bad word to say about this bike.... Or maybe I'm starting to get blinkered and talking myself more and more into it.

Far too soon imo .

You passed 7 months ago, you are still learning. Are you seriously pushing your current bike to the limits and need more?

Wait.

Without doubt the voice of reason. Thumbs Up

I love the Gladius and it's absolutley the right bike for my experience level. It is so user friendly and it really encourages you to chuck it about.

If I did that with a street triple would it be more likely to chuck me off?? Confused

I saw the Kwak after it but I now realise that you got both.

Any downsides?

Opposite to this.

You have no power currently, also no style by the looks of it.

This upgrade is definitely a plus plus Mr. Green

Took a step closer today Mr. Green

Spoke with the Credit company regarding the Gladdy settlement, Turns out that Triumph use the same company so I will be able to effectively settle on the Gladius and jump straight on the New Street Triple R in one swift movement.

Really pleased with the Guy I am speaking to at Triumph. He's taking his time to explain exactly how it will work and what deal he will offer me.

Only downside is double Insurance cost Sick

You won't regret getting one, they are really good. Totally fun machines.

It isn't great for touring, no wind protection and carrying stuff is a pain.
It probably isn't much good for a long commute for the same reason and fuel consumption isn't that brilliant (well mine isn't with Leo Vince pipes and a remap).
It's not brilliant for the pillion unless you like her humping you whenever you grab a handful of front brake.

But it IS great fun Thumbs Up

Cheers,

There was a Phantom Black (Gold Wheels) delivered today and he is going to hold it until Monday for me. It really is just a case of giving him the nod and sorting the paperwork. My insurance company want another £90 for the last 134 days of my policy for this year, so that's not too bad.

I'll drop in on Saturday for him to go over the Gladius, then it's just a case of taking off all the bolt on bits and flogging them on fleabay.
