Have you tried giving less handjobs to strange men?

It's all in the ride position, loosening the 'death grip' will definitely help.

Otherwise i'd say adjust/change your bars and pegs, i'm not surprised looking at the bike, the grips are at a weird sideways angle, forcing you to bend your wrist outwards

Check your bars are bolted on tightly.

Loosen your grip.

Buy a cramp buster. They really do work.

Try loosening the handle bars and turn it towards you more so the throttle and clutch are in a more neutral position rather than upright

Only joking.

What type of gloves are you using .I found that buy using a slightly thicker pair helped me when i had the same problem.or a change of grips might do the job as well Thumbs Up

There is your answer. You are still nervous and gripping too tight most likely. Ride and practice one hand at a time with fingertips only resting on top of bar or a abit. Or with one hand on top of your helmet. You will unconsciously learn you dont need to hold tight and the problem will go away

Just look at the angle of the bars, that bike is practically designed with carpel tunnel in mind

The bike you posted? I just have to look at the angle of the cylinders and know I am not going any where on it. It will be rough and vibrate

It will probably take 6 months or so for your muscles to get used to biking - to the untrained eye we just sit there, but you are using a lot of muscles you wouldn't normally use when biking.

Think about your first car journey as a new driver of say an hour and how knackered it made you feel - after a while an hours driving is a piece of piss. (Ignore that if you don't drive)

Learn to relax and don't grip the bars so tight. I'm sure there was some old golf joke about gripping the clubs' grip (throttle) like a penis or something Thumbs Up Thumbs Up

OP just buy some better gloves, it will improve the "vibration" no idea why it should be causing pins and needles anyway.

Actually the 125's are smooth my friend has one and its not bad for the bike. Doesn't vibrate (or isn't noticeable) hasn't caused him any problems mechanically and never caused pins and needles or any other physical problems.

It sounds like, as others have said, you're gripping too tight.

My VT doesn't vibrate adversely and I don't get/never had pins and needles.

Post a link of the grips you actually have on your bike?

Also, are you resting the bottom of your hand/wrist on the handles? Given the blood flow in the area, you could be cutting off the supply hence your symptoms.

try holding on more with your thighs against the tank, You can totally relax the grip on the bars then.
This helped me when I had the EL250 (similar type bike) while I was getting used to things.

Hi! (another newbie here!)

I have the same issue, and with me it is tension in my right shoulder that causes it. I have some chronic joint pain in my right shoulder and am tense a lot anyway. As soon as I drop that shoulder and relax, the tingling instantly goes.
