I can't find the Motrax Vishas for sale anywhere as recommended in a previous thread.

(I also don't trust Oxford kit, it's a bit naff from experience on my biycle.)

I was hoping to spend up to about £30 but would stretch further is something is considered the "tried and tested" lock

Get something big bright and cheap. It's a deterrent not an anti theft device.

ive put this in another forum it brought my insurance down a little bit
and its a pretty good lock

Heard xena are pretty good, you shoud be able to get an alarmed one from them for 30 quid if that floats your boat.

Look on ebay too, some second hand abus ones floating about that if they have the certificate you can get discount on your insurance. (If your TPFT)
