my paycheck was considerably larger than I'd expected this month, so I thought I'd get myself a nice new jacket and some nice new gloves.

Went to a local place I knew, very helpful bloke (same place I did my CBT) found some nice stuff, but thought I'd better look a few other places first.

Went to a performance bike place, some BEAUTIFUL bikes there, R6s, Gixxers, a pant wettingly nice Ducati 749, and one of those sexy things yams has got. The bloke working there just sat on the phone, no prices on anything, no-one around to help, so fuck em, I left.

Went to a place my parents have been using for years, was having a browse, the guy timed it perfectly, asked me if I needed help, said I was after some gloves, didn't really know what I was after, he asked me to hold a hand up. He said he knew exactly what I wanted, he reached up, grabbed a box, opened it up, they were perfect.

The price was also about £10 lower than other prices I'd been looking at. Then I said I was looking for a jacket, he found again, a perfect one, and a damn sight cheaper, then he gave me a 10% discount on everything. I love places like that who are by bikers, for bikers.

Thumbs Up to hadlers in Chelmsford.

It's great when you have some cash to play with Thumbs Up

I used to buy all my "stuff" from my local Honda dealer and
I always got a discount. I don't go in there so much these
days but I still get discount Thumbs Up

I get my Leathers, jackets and boots from Hein Gericke and
the service in two stores I've used is fastastic. No discount
but at least the coffee is free and the advice given has been
the best. The only downside is the price of the helmets.

The only trouble with HG is they need to change their name to something people can spell. It is absolute murder trying to find their website because even the mis-spellings trawl up thousands of results on google Rolling Eyes

Laughing
It's actually the name of the guy who started the company.
Guess if they changed it wouldn't be HG anymore Confused

Website is at https://www.hein-gericke.com/

- and yes, I'm a HG fan, I used to think they were expensive until I tried the kit. Now IMHO I realise it's good value for the money.

I was always looking for a Hein Gericke and on the website it stated that the nearest one was in Bristol which is about 60 miles away do I thought, no.

Went to collect my bike from where it was getting repaired in Taunton 13 miles away and right next to it was a massive Hein Gericke. Neutral Update the website, folks. Very Happy

Agreed with you there. Thumbs Up Bought my jacket there and it's just the greatest little shop. Even though I had directions I was still convinced it *couldn't* be in that little village cause that just wouldn't make sense... and there it was round the corner. Very Happy
