Yes, but it's made to Yamaha quality standards. The other main alternative, the CBF125, is made in India and while it's a more modern design, it seems to have patchy build quality and some common problems.
I don't think there are any 125cc bikes that are still made in Japan. If you want something new, you'll have have to take your choice of Chinese, Indian, Korean or Thai bikes. ____________________ Biking is 1/20th as dangerous as horse riding.
