What I don't understand is why it weighs nearly 50kg more? Sure it's supposed to be a beast of a bike, but where exactly is all the extra lard coming from?

K1300GT Weight: 562lb (255kg) dry. 635lb (288kg) unladen with full tank according to some page, Trophy's 662lb(301kg) is wet weight without panniers, so difference is 13kg not 50kg Wink

£14000 does look a bit pricy, but the Kwak GTR1400 is £13500 with nothing like as many toys.
