Wonder if anyone has any ideas here. Picked up my new RS125 on Saturday - its a beaut. Everything is going well until after about 20 mins riding/eng temp in high 70s pulling away becomes a lot trickier. The revs die away when the clutch is let out and I have to really rag it, play with the clutch from stopping it stalling. I dunno whether I am just letting the clutch out too early, not revvin high enough or perhaps the clutch cable is stretching with the heat, but its fine early on in the ride. Any ideas?
Cheers

Jim

If its brand new take it back and have them take a look at it.

Also you do know that your mean't to break in a new bike engine don't you and not exceed certain revs?

Check coolant level, my rs doesn't get above 72, and thats after over an hours ride.

Also you could try checking the engine oil, my bro had the same thing, replaced oil in engine and also had to replace sparkplug - runs fine now.

You might want to check the choke cable as well, this could be sticking slightly, this can cause the engine to flood and stall (I know I left the choke on whilst riding once and it felt really sluggish Embarassed )
