Breakdown
the damn MZ just stopped on an A road in the centre of my town. I had just flicked the headlights on, and bingo, the engine cuts out.
I managed to get it over the high curb, and phoned the emergency support (dad) then I pushed the fucker home, (did you know the trip meter and speedo still work when you're pushing the bike) (I did 4km)
got home, my dad took a look later, apparently a dodgy fuse, not blown, just a dodgy connection.
at least it's going again now.
I don't like breakdowns, just lucky I wasn't on my way to something important, or further away.

I remember my last breakdown on the NSR before I sold it. The fuse blew. Turns out it was the wrong size. I was miles from home down in peebles too. In the icy darkness. For some bizzare reason I had a bunch of spare fuses in one of my pockets. I had no problems with fuses till that point. I have no idea why I had fuses in my pockets but it was a good thing I did. ____________________ Honda NSR125R -> Suzuki GSXR400R GK76a -> Kawasaki ZX636 B1H -> Honda CBR400RR NC29 -> Nothing |

My first breakdown was horrible, pulled back accelerator, throttle cable snapped in the middle of a big traffic light junction on a Dual Carriageway, so somehow I pushed the bike as fast as I could to the side of the road...then we had a massive rain shower and I got drenched. ____________________ Be careful whose advice you buy, but, be patient with those who supply it.
