Took a little while but I finally made it. Had the test on Friday and whilst a little nervious, was able to make it through with two minors.

Unfortunately I was away at the weekend so havn't yet been able to take my bike out for its first ride yet. Hopefully if its not raining after work I will get the chance today!

Super happy but I guess now is when I really learn how to ride a bike.

Well done. Thumbs Up

Don't let the rain put you off to much but yea, build up confidence in the dry first if that makes it more 'comfortable' but you can learn a shitload in the wet!!

Thanks guys,

I have had the bike sitting at home for two months as I bought it around when I had my tests originally booked. I failed the mod1 originally and then had a nightmare reorganising avaliable time with work / DSA test times.

I managed to find half an hour to take the bike out last night though when the rain had stopped which was great. Just took it around the local area to get my confidence up as it was my first time riding on wet roads. By the end of the little trip I was feeling good and definately cant wait to get out again!
