Today, going into work, around 7am, BAM 2 rabbits jump out infront of me, i went down, lol.

Anyway, so im riding back, maybe 40mph, BAM a bird hits me in the face.

Luckily, i think i just knocked him out, came round again after a few minutes.

Wasp bounced off chest, sucked up into my helmet, landed in line with my right eye resting on the padding.

Many, many new swear words were invented in the 30+ seconds it took me to pull over. Luckily the poor bugger took such a blow it was stunned and not moving.

Also had to duck to avoid a pidgeon at 40mph (my mate behind had a good giggle) and minutes later a squirrel ran hell for leather out of the bushes in line with my foot, stopped not even an inch from my wheel and ran back into the bush. Again, mate in hysterics.

Wildlife has a thing for me it seems.

I was riding along a country road and a bird swooped down coming right for me. I knew it was going to hit me, braced myself, and maybe closed my eyes for a fraction of a second (not like a wuss would at all)

Then Nothing...

Thought it must've just missed me!

Three days later, I noticed it.

I'm sorry - but that made me laugh. Glad the bird didn't die, poor rabbit. Animals need to learn it's not big, nor clever to play chicken on these busy roads.

This reminds me of a game i like to call "the moth game" riding along at normal speeds in country lanes whilst the moths are attracted to your headlight you can see them coming, the aim is to move your head into a position where it will hit your helmet and die.

10 points per moth.
