Slide end can off slightly so it leaves a gap between end can and headers and can easily be moved but not flop around....start bike up, 30 seconds later move end can up and way from pipe slightly, bike should now get instantly louder.

Look perplexed whilst revving it, whilst it is really loud, walk in "pissed off" as your exhaust has just blown apart on the joint and now you need a new one, and how "you might be able to temp fix it, but it is knackered"

Next step, is to get a coke can and some jubilee clips to "fix" the joint, when in reality you just slide the exhaust back together, and wrap a coke can around the exhaust joint to make it look like a temp fix, when in reality all you have done is wrapped a coke can around the exhaust for no reason, and mention that it will hold, but not for long.
