So. It's been a while since I 'got away' with replacing the bandit for something 75% of people thought I'd kill myself on/should have bought a house instead/is plain ugly.
The other day I had a little go on a TL1000 and it only confirmed my feeling that I wanted a faired, sportsbike as well. Naked bike for lovely days and light/heavy rain. Sportsbike with fairing for..lovely days and heavy/light rain...... Yeah. Now that I've completely set up a watertight argument for owning two bikes, I set off on my search.
Truimph 600/675 daytona..I want one. So I looked around, found a few on bike trader and off to the insurance comparison sites! £1500... Hang on a minute..my b-king is £500. Okay, there's weight/power ratios and all that but the b-king does have some wicked torque/revs to make up for the weight... For a giggle I try a 1000cc sportsbike...£500 too..ooookay...
So I now have a Yamaha R1 coming at some point. It's then I realise the garage is like this

And that my dad is like this about motorbikes taking up his precious ruined scrap planks of wood space.

So how will I hide this addition? Two ideas I have are
A) Tel him it's the b-king but I've painted it red and white. Then tell him I've left my bicycle underneath the covers in the garage [it's in my bedroom]
B) park it next to the b-king and share the cover, tell him I've bought wider handlebars.
Any others from you chaps and ladies? ____________________ Mod2 Passed 30/03/2011!

Same answer as in the original B-King thread: if you've got the money to spunk on pimp bikes, put it in the house/flat fund and stop sponging off of mater and pater. Their gaff, their rules. ____________________ Biking is 1/20th as dangerous as horse riding.
