Well I'm bored.... so I was wondering what people think are the coolest helmets you can buy (not custom stuff)

I like the look of OSBE fighter pilot style helmets. But I'm not sure what it would look like in the flesh...

Coolest helmets I like are the Shoei's that have stopped my brain decorating the road and tracks in various incidents, can't really remember what they looked like though?

Brembo B-Techs are sort of....different. The field of vision looks superb though. Automatic chinstrap is a nice touch too.

While not being the coolest looking, the Reevu certainly has a cool function - rear view technology! Not sure how good it is though...or how distracting!

The bug looking ones look good, but in the flesh, you just look like a bug, and cagers squish you more as a result.

I've always liked the TR1 but I can't say that this is the best scheme.

Remember kids, bikes aren't like lego. You can't easily take a part from one bike and then fit it to another.

Saw one of these the other day, they look much better in reality than the images. If I were a scooter rider I might consider it...

I quite like the ROOF Boxer helmets.

I wear a Scott Redding replica, which I think is quite snazzy Smile

Whatever the helmet, if a dark visor isn't available for it, it's not going on my head.

I like the matt black look of a helmet, I've just replaced my lid with a Nolan n90.

https://cdn.bikechatforums.com/files/nolan_classic-n90_flat-black.jpg

It's replaces a Nolan that was in a crash, but this time I went for a smaller size as the previous one felt loose once I'd worn it in a bit (protected my head though...I think Wink

givi`s Xplus and Xzero1 are both awesome ....i have tried both but cant justify spending that much on a lid when my bike still has unresolved issues lol

the range of vision on the Xplus is superb and the Xzero1`s chinbar system is great ....i love the idea of a open airflow chinbar with full protection

might consider saving up for one of those reevu lids, the rear view is kinda cool but the helmet has good looks about it too

Or to wait for next month when I can afford it Cool

They look really dodgy. Not because of the open face, but because of the leather outer - looks like it would grip the road in a slide and twist your neck.
