Giving birth is not easy, when my twins were born it took 13hours starting in the middle of the night. So there I was totally unprepared with no book,no snack bag...nothing. I found a paper in the morn, read it cover to cover twice including adverts. The other side of the room had a comfy bed, drugs on tap and control of the tv. I had a chair and she wouldnt share the drugs.

Even when the hospital shop opened all the books were for woman, someone is missing a trick there.

I have so much respect for the ladies that do it. I have to say, the back problem that got me an elective caesarean was a gift from the gods for me. Once it was booked i was afraid to cough, sneeze or giggle in case Tiny Cornish came early and i got diddled out of the op Rolling Eyes
