Is the centre stand apart of the test now again?
I remember it was ruled out just before I did my DAS - which is a good thing because even to this day I cant put a scooter/Bike on its centre stand what so ever 7 years on |

Nope, it's either stand. Some bikes don't have centre stands, it can't be a requirement. ____________________ Biking is 1/20th as dangerous as horse riding.

so for starters, putting a bike on a centre stand should not be a difficult thing to do.
push it down with your foot, get the stand planted ready and hold both the handlebar and the grab handle. the idea is you basically stand/push down with your right foot using your hands to steady the bike.. it should go on without you 'busting a gut'. you use your weight to do it, not pull up on it

I had to do the centre stand on my test, bare in mind this was before the part 1&2 bollocks, you shouldn't need to use your back as such to put a bike on the centre stand, hold the bike upright, left hand on left bar, right hand on seat/grab rail, one foot on the stand so it's on the floor then stand on the stand as it were, the bike will come up, you just need to balance it...
Do some mild twists and stretches to ease the knot/pull in your back between now and then, MILD being the key word... ____________________ Previous Bikes...Honda NSR 125 RR...Kawasaki Zephyr 550...Suzuki SV 1000 S...Yamaha FZ8...Current Bike...Suzuki GSX-R 750... |

When I did my test, putting the bike on the centrestand was a requirement. If your bike didn't have one, it was unsuitable for using on the test.
You had to pull in at the side of the road, get off the bike, put it on the stand, take it off the stand and push it through a turn in the road. Then you'd have to get back on and do a U-turn, the pushing having shown it was possible to turn that bike in the width available.
EDIT: CG125 centrestands are not at all well designed. The mounts start to wear with use and the wheels get closer and closer to the ground. You eventually have to start looking for slight humps to park them on. ____________________ “Rule one: Always stick around for one more drink. That's when things happen.
