Im flogging my drz400, and 6 months ago got offered a really good price for it, but decided to keep it. Now Ive got it on ebay and it aint getting much interest. If its not worth selling Ill keep it, but were's the best place to get a realistic value? Is there a bike equivalent to Glass or similar?

I've never been convinced by bike pricing guides. There are too few sales and too many variables: locality, season, weather.

It's only "realistically" worth what someone will pay for it. Have you done a search for similar bikes for sale, and an "advanced" eBay search for completed listings to see what they went for?

https://priceanybike.com base the prices on recent adverts, so gives you an idea of the range of asking prices. Actual prices bikes are fetching are a different matter, I tend to trawl eBay looking at completed auctions.

Cheers Guys, just realised I hadnt meant to post this here, oops. I always try to look at a range of similar bikes for sale, but theres always the super high mileage cheapy and the super over prices one at the other end of the scale.

Some one coming to view tomorrow at what I think is a mutually fair price! well see

Sounds like someones going to offer to buy it and you're going to be like nahh actually i'm gonna keep it Wink

If you don't want to sell it, don't. Noone's making you.
Otherwise, ebay, see what others are getting for theirs, work it out.

Just did a search on my bike "£320 and £480" I paid £150 for one in mint condition, had just been sitting in a garage since 2004. Laughing

Won't be so "mint" when I come to selling it though. Sad

Nice site. That ones a keeper.

At a dealer, expect to pay between £1,300 and £1,950
and aim to pay £1,650.

From a private seller, expect to pay between £1,100 and £1,600
and aim to pay £1,350.

If selling in part exchange, expect to receive £960.

I paid 1100 for mine, seems legit

That site told me to expect £960 for mine to.

No chance.
