Please can I get the information on Stopping distance for motorcycles.

The braking distance is only 6m, but IIRC official DSA braking distances were taken from a 1963 Ford Anglia

Basically the braking distances are set as the longest distances of any vehicle you're every likely to get a chance to drive, so really they apply to relics like my 1960s' Landie with un-assisted drum brakes. Modern vehicles comfortably stop in about half the specified distances, assuming the driver isn't a thicko.
