Reading through the package sent, it says that your two-piece leathers have to zip 'all the way around'?? My one only zips up at the back Should this be ok?

Never seen them or heard of them checking to ensure that your leathers are actually zipped all the way round, they do pick up if they can see a t-shirt flapping around on track or see that it's not zipped all the way round. So along as it's not obvious that they're not zipped all the way round they're very unlikely to notice.

they did say to me that I needed to have leathers that go all the way round, I explained that mine only went 3/4 and they said that would be fine.

The usual specification for trackdays is leathers that zip all the way around or one piece.

3/4 would be considered to be all the way around, while just the back wouldn't, I suspect. However I've never seen them check, though it is going to be a bit more 'involved' day I think.

I need to do some running repairs on my leathers too, after yesterday's little spill.

Bloody hate sewing.

Jon, if you embark on sewing the zip to your trousers, may I suggest you sew in some elastic between the zip and the trousers, that way it's got a bit of give if you don't get them lined up quite right.
