Might be a stupid question, but what is the trick? I mean, if I take an average detergent and water, I could do the same thing. Confused I'd not use dish detergent on wind shield of course. It could leave some marks on it.

Please do not copy me what the page says, I have read it, thank you.

The girl's alright though Cool

Got two for the price of one at the NEC a few years ago, just chucked the second one in the bin as it was not as good as washing up liquid and water.

The muck off pink spray type stuff is a bad product for the money.

Get a freebie though and try it to make up your own mind but you're better off buying some cheap smart price wash and wax and some paraffin from B&Q.

I can't comment on any of their other products. Just the pink cleaner with the scooshy bottle.

Depends what you're using it for - detergent often contains a lot of salt and sometimes abrasives. Don't fancy that anywhere near my bike, ta.

I've tried plenty of cleaners in the past in the hope that there really is a 'spray on, rinse off, bike clean' miracle cleaner like the manufacturers claim. There isn't, elbow grease and WD40 seems to have worked best for me.

Apart from carb cleaner that is - took my grimy carbs off and gave them a blast and they were shiny clean in no time Shocked

Well I think, that if I can wash the dishes with it and my hands are smooth as silk, then it won't hurt the bike. Cool Of course, If I had a brand new motorcycle, I would definitely get some ''pro'' cleaners.

BTW, I do NOT clean with this the chain and inner parts of my motorcycle. Smile

used this on the focus to remove burnt on brake dust from the front wheels, always worked a treat. Sprayed it on all wheels, let it seep in then wipe off. No harm to the lacquer on the wheels but cant think of anywhere else on a bike/car id use it in case it dried the paint!
