I have just received my new motobatt and am a bit confused to how you install it. Confused

There aren't any instructions.

It came with 2 terminal posts (each with 3 holes) and 4 button head allen bolts.

Anyone know how to set these up?

And they don't need initial charging. Is this right?

I just worked it out when I got mine. I looked at the old battery, put the Motobatt up next to it, and fitted the terminals in the most appropriate place.

Then I removed the old battery, and wired up the new one... Simples.

(although I didn't charge any of them...)

I also did not charge my standard acid one either when i got it but the norm is give them a charge and if the OP has a duffer then he wont feel guilty about sending it back.

Your first post was the back of 2. It would have been done by now. Stick it on now till when you go to bed and it will be fine. You can stick it in the bike but you will want to take it a run to get a proper charge in it.

Nothing wrong with getting one off ebay.

I bought mine from Buster's on Wednesday night and received it today via next day delivery. Very pleased. Smile
